Point and Shoot Workshop

Are you satisfied with the photos you are getting from your digital camera? Would you like to make them better? This short course will take you through the mysteries of the digital photography world. It is a misconception that all you have to do with the new point and shoot digital cameras is "point and shoot." This course will show you how just a few simple setting changes can make all the difference in the world in the quality of your picture taking.
Included will be:
A Power Point presentation "Digital Photography - What's It All About"
Discussion of presentation, photographic techniques and types of compact digital cameras.
Instruction in understanding attendees' specific compact digital cameras.
Understanding the camera manual
Camera set-up and menu settings
Ruth Ann Angus is a travel, wildlife, nature, and agriculture writer/photographer who publishes in many local and national magazines and newspapers. Ruth Ann also works in conjunction with the National Estuary Program and has been published in many of their brochures and booklets. Her photographs and descriptive writing are on area interpretive nature signs in the Central Coast of California.
