Meet at Montaña de Oro State Park - Spooner Ranch House

Staged in the picturesque Spooner Ranch House, adjacent to photogenic Spooner Cove, this rich historical setting provides photo enthusiasts an opportunity to shoot subjects costumed in the persona of Victorian era pioneers. For those interested in capturing images ideal for processing in tints and sepias, these living models provide a rich patina of authenticity.

Instructor Joyce Cory, assisted by Spooner Ranch Docents, will lead the class with an eye toward point and shoot composition. While there, you won’t want to miss the sweeping natural beauty of the Central Coasts’ most scenic park. Allow plenty of extra time to photograph the area. Bring extra batteries.
